Arapahoe County deserves a Treasurer who will continue to improve services for everyone.
When re-elected, I will continue to serve Arapahoe County, working to build on the success of the last four years.
My Background
I am a Tax Attorney by trade with a Masters of Laws in Taxation from the University of Denver. I have spent my whole working career representing taxpayers and their money. I can understand any law or regulation and figure out how make it best serve the interests of the people who live, work, and play in Arapahoe County.
Our 2nd Decade in Arapahoe County
Since 2015, my wife and I have called Aurora, CO home. There is nowhere I would rather continue to grow roots — both figuratively and literally with our front-yard garden.
I grew up in a small town in South Dakota, where I learned to “leave it better than you found it.” I am working toward exactly that in Aurora, Arapahoe County, and Colorado as a whole.
Whether it’s enjoying Coors Field, helping to pass our De-Brucing measure, or helping Aurora become the best city in Colorado, I can’t wait to see how much better this decade can be than the last one for all of us.
Why I Love My Job as Treasurer
Being County Treasurer is a difficult job that has you juggling ten things at once nearly every day. But when it is done correctly, it is incredibly fulfilling.
I get a chance to change people’s lives for the better. Knowing that someone is living a better tomorrow because I fought for them today is a reward that I would not trade for the world. This is the best job I have ever had, and I try to make the most of every day I have it.

Working Together Solves Problems
You didn’t just choose me as your County Treasurer four years ago. You also elected a whole host of other great people who are pushing Arapahoe County into the future and beyond for the good of everyone.
Arapahoe County is on a great path, but there is still so much more to do. I will continue to work with my colleagues to solve each and every problem that comes our way.
Arapahoe County residents couldn’t ask for a better team to do this work for them, and I can’t wait to continue alongside:
- Our current County Commissioners up for election this year Jessica Campbell and Leslie Summey
- Arapahoe County Clerk & Recorder Joan Lopez
- Arapahoe County Assessor PK Kaiser
- Arapahoe County Sheriff Tyler Brown
- Arapahoe County Coroner Dr. Casey Bitting
Choosing me again as your Arapahoe County Treasurer will help continue the sound investments for your tax dollars, the development of new and transparency tools, and a new future of local investment into Arapahoe County and its residents.
